🤔 What do you think?
Hello everyone! Over the past week, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how to run my Substack.
So far, I’ve shared around 270 lesson notes with you. That’s a lot, right? Whenever I create lesson notes, I always choose the content very carefully. Unlike most Korean textbooks on the market, my top priority has been to only teach grammar that is truly useful and actually helps you speak more natural Korean.
Of course, there are still tons of grammar points I could cover. But to be completely honest, most of what’s left are forms that my Korean friends and I almost never use in real life. If I started making lesson notes about those, this Substack would end up looking just like any other standard Korean textbook, and that’s something I really want to avoid. That’s why I spent so much time thinking about this over the past week.
So from now on, I’ve decided to start creating a variety of reading materials that reuse and build on the grammar we’ve already learned together. For paid subscribers, just like before, I’ll include an audio recording that I’ve personally recorded, a vocabulary list, and a writing assignment based on the reading.
The reason I’m writing this letter is because I’d really love to hear your thoughts. Please tell me just one thing you think I could improve about this Substack so far. Even one small piece of feedback will be a huge help for me and for this community.
Thank you so much for reading!

I think it would be cool to have articles where the focus is on a single expression or idea like "want to grab a meal today?" and then showing various versions depending on honorifics, how strongly you want to suggest the idea, etc
I love the idea of reading materials that reuse and build on the grammar. I think this could also really help me build my vocabulary. It would be great if you had links back to the original explanations of the grammar points.
