1. Contrast with VS + 는데
You don’t have to consider the ending of the character. Just put 는데 after verb stem.
Example:
"저는 커피를 좋아하는데, 친구는 차를 좋아해요."
(I like coffee, but my friend likes tea.)
2. Contrast with ADJ + ㄴ/은데
If the adjective ends with a vowel, you use ㄴ.
If the adjective ends with a consonant, you use 은.
Example:
