The passive form using -아/어/해지다 can be added to adjectives to express a change in state. When attached to adjectives, it indicates that the subject undergoes a change or transformation.
Structure
Adjective stem + -아/어/해지다
If the adjective stem ends in ㅏ or ㅗ, it takes -아지다.
If the adjective stem ends in other vowels, it takes -어지다.
